This year 6806 of you took part in the survey, an impressive 51% response rate so thank you. That is the highest response rate we have ever achieved so we are determined to make the best use of your feedback.
This year's survey focused on 6 key areas of working life at the council: culture; communication and change; work and resources; performance and development; pay and benefits; and leadership.
Questions included in the survey were a mix of industry standard questions that measure engagement, and questions that help us better understand what's happening in practice (e.g. whether managers are talking to staff about wellbeing, performance and workload).
Using your feedback
We will use your feedback to help us build on the work we have done to date and focus on what we need to do differently. We will be updating these pages on an on-going basis with plans and actions taken to respond.
You'll also soon start to hear more about the other great engagement initiatives we have in store for the next 12 months, but the staff survey is such an important starting point to help shape our plans.
