- Employee assistance programme - Offering free confidential support counselling and advice including financial wellbeing and debt advice.
- Money Helper is a government assured one stop shop for all your budget, finance, debt and pension concerns
- MECC Link - Simple signposting to better health and wellbeing including financial inclusion and debt advice.
- LCC's Welfare Rights team has a staff helpline - 01772 533633 (weekdays 10am -12noon and 2pm-4pm). Confidential advice for staff and immediate family regarding eligibility for benefits and any other questions regarding benefits.

- Unions - If you are a member of a Union there could be a range of money-saving benefits and some offer financial assistance.

Training and information
- Money and Me is a free six-week programme delivered by Lancashire Mind to give you the skills and confidence to manage your mental health when you are experiencing money problems.

- Planning for retirement – ask your manager or look on the intranet for the LCC pre-retirement course
Pensions
- As your manager or check the intranet for LCC's retirement policies
- LCC pensions– the LCC pension scheme is managed by the Local Pensions Partnership (LPP). Ask questions, access information and log in to your account
- LPP online training sessions to understand pensions and retirement
- AVC wise– find out more about topping up your pension through salary sacrifice
- If you don't have an LCC pension, contact your provider for advice. You can also book an appointment with Pension Wisefor free, impartial guidance on your pension options (age 50 and over)
