Get involved
Prospective Members
There are many benefits to becoming a Change Influencer, including:
- Being part of a community of like-minded individuals looking to make a difference.
- Networking with colleagues across the council.
- Getting early insight on key projects, programmes and approaches intended to support change and improvement in our organisation.
- Opportunities for personal development and honing your leadership skills.
- Getting access to key decision makers across the council.
If this appeals to you, please check whether your service has the capacity for further Change Influencer representation by speaking with your Head of Service. The reason we ask you to do this is that your involvement needs to provide some value for your service and of course, there needs to be assurance that business needs are covered. If your Head of Service is supportive, we just need a quick confirmation email from them, or from you with them in copy, to Claire Walker, Engagement and Experience Lead (Claire.walker2@lancashire.gov.uk).
If you don't wish or are unable to join the Network as a Change Influencer, you can still do your bit to get more involved by joining your service's Staff Voice Group. To learn more about that, please speak to your Change Influencer(s) for more details.
Management Teams
There are also several positives for managers and leaders to having a Change Influencer within the team, such as:
- Supporting the delivery of key projects, programmes of work or new initiatives.
- Promoting key messages.
- Ascertaining key intel / feedback from the team.
If you would like to learn more about the benefits to introducing a Change Influencer into your service, please contact: Claire Walker, Engagement and Experience Lead (Claire.walker2@lancashire.gov.uk).
