Change Influencer Network
Welcome to the Change Influencer Network!
What it's all about
The Change Influencer Network launched in March 2022 to help improve how change is managed within the council and ensure that staff are involved in shaping change wherever possible.
As Change Influencers, we support local management teams and colleagues to deliver positive changes within our own services and directorates by helping to identify opportunities for improvements to ways of working, employee engagement and communication.
At an organisational level, we have been part of the development, testing, implementation and promotion of supporting with staff engagement initiatives following the Staff Survey, the Supporting Good Days at Work Programme, the Employee Assistance Programme and the Leading Lancashire Framework.
Who we are
Change Influencers work in different roles spanning all levels within the council. You'll recognise us by our distinctive orange lanyards!
Key skills for all Change Influencers include being a change advocate, feeling comfortable taking the lead to influence action, forward-thinking with a solution-focused mindset, and working collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues across the council.
How we work
We have an active Teams channel for members to share best practice, ask questions and network. We also run hybrid events every 8 weeks, with guest speakers from across the council, development sessions and interactive discussions.
We also run Staff Voice Groups within our teams and services to share insights from the Network with colleagues and gain valuable intel and evidence on how things are working in practice.
