Dial-a-bus
The Dial-a-Bus service provides door-to-door services within their operating areas, using vehicles specially adapted to make them easy to use. Vehicles are equipped with lifts and passenger restraints so that wheelchair users can travel without having to transfer to a seat. Services may run to a broad route and timetable. Please contact the operator for up-to-date details. They will always try to help wherever they can.
From 1 July 2011 the maximum fares being charged by community transport operators will be as shown below. Some operators may offer lower fares than advertised therefore contact your local operator for full details:

When services operate
Dial-a-Bus services will generally operate between the hours of 9.30am and 14.30pm.

Mobile Shopmobility Service 0966 451613
Dial-a-Bus and Group Transport Services throughout the Borough of Preston and some of the surrounding areas - primarily the Bamber Bridge and Penwortham areas of South Ribble plus a weekly service between Longridge and Preston. Preston Community Transport also provides a “Shopmobility” scheme providing wheelchairs and electric "pavement scooters" for use in central Preston. The Dial-a-Bus service is supported by Lancashire County Council while the “Shopmobility” service is supported by Preston Borough Council.
