Asset Management Planning
The County Council's approach to capital investment
and asset management is set out in its Capital Strategy and Asset Management
Plan.
The Capital Strategy covers all aspects of the County Council's capital expenditure and describes how the deployment of capital resources contributes to the achievement of corporate and service objectives. The Asset Management Plan outlines existing strategic asset management arrangements and sets out planned action to define and provide for longer-term corporate need.
The County Council's first Capital Strategy and Asset Management Plan were submitted to the Government Office for the North West in July 2001. A copy can be viewed here. (445KB - Acrobat PDF)
In March 2002 a Strategic Asset Management Report outlining progress following the Year 1 Asset Management Plan was approved by Cabinet. A copy can be viewed here. (145 KB - Acrobat PDF)
