School library service - In-service training
- Our range of courses assist teachers in planning and organising the school library and promoting books and resources within school.
- The courses are run by experienced SLS staff who have an extensive knowledge of school library provision and children's literature.
- SLS aims to offer all schools courses that target their current needs with emphasis on practical, achievable aims.
Each school is entitled to one ½ day advisory support per financial year and this may be exchanged for one place on an Inset course - charges for paid places are as follows:-
- £55 (for schools inside Lancashire)
- £65 (for schools outside Lancashire)
