Baby Bounce and Rhyme
Many Lancashire Libraries hold weekly Baby Bounce and Rhyme Times, noisy fun sessions for babies.
The emphasis is on enjoyment, and library staff lead the singing while demonstrating the actions using soft toys and puppets. Parents and carers are encouraged to share nursery rhymes and songs with their babies. Small percussion instruments suitable for little hands are often used during the activity. The sessions are free and last around half an hour, with plenty of time afterwards for parents to have a chat and browse through the books. There is no need to book, just pop along on the day.
