This section gives a summary of the landscape prior to the scheme, based on the Habitat Survey undertaken in 1990, a description of how the scheme will effect the landscape and the landscaping measures that will be undertaken taken to minimise the intrusive aspects of the scheme, including a noise assessment and provisions for pedestrians and cyclists.
