THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(UNNAMED SIDE ROAD, BURNELY, BURNLEY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Unnamed Side Road, Burnley, from its junction with Red Lion Street in a south westerly direction, for a distance of 28 metres, in the Borough of Burnley.
No alternative route is applicable as this a 'No Through' road.
Access to properties will be maintained.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to facilitate building renovation works to be carried out.
The prohibition will be operative from 0900 hours on Monday 15th February 2010 until 1700 hours on Sunday 26th September 2010, or until completion of the works within this period.
