Baxenden St John's Church of England Primary School
Baxenden St John's Church of England Primary School received a Community Design to help them to create an environmental education resource and seating area.
A landscape designer was commissioned to provide a plan to enhance the visual amenity and biodiversity of the school boundary, creating a feeling of privacy without closing out the wider landscape views. 
The design has helped the school to prioritise and phase the implementation of the project, and has served to engage the parents and pupils.
The school has received funding from Green Partnership Awards to plant a hedge and pay for wild flower bulbs, which some of the school's children helped to plant.
