Trawlers - Steamers

The steam trawler 'Cloughton Wyke', built in Selby in 1918 and owned by the Dinas Steam Trawling Co. Ltd. Originally built as the Mersey-class trawler 'John Johnson' she did service in the war as a minesweeper before being lost in an air attack off the Humber in 1942. Shown here with the registration H705 she was registered in Fleetwood in 1929 as FD46.
