School Loans Service
A unique resource:
- A wide range of exciting materials
- Original and reproduction objects
- Stimulating thinking, talking, creativity and research.
- Available to ALL schools within the boundaries of Lancashire.
From September 2006 subscribe to the service:
- For £250 have 10 Units delivered over the school year
- For £150 have 5 Units delivered over the school year.
- 1 Unit delivered for £50.
A unit is:
- One box containing a range of objects and resources
- A package of smaller more focused, complementary boxes.
- Many units are unique and original
- Early booking is strongly recommended.
Normal loan period of two weeks:
- Collections and deliveries usually take place on Thursdays and Fridays.
- All loans are delivered and collected by our drivers, the cost of which is included in the subscription.

Many of the loans that we produce address core-curriculum themes, and can also be used creatively to deliver a wide range of cross-curricular learning objectives at various key stages. All boxes help develop speaking, listening, observational and literacy skills.
