Innovation and Investment: Growing Your Low Carbon Business

Wednesday 15th September at the Lancaster Environment Centre

Thank you to all who attended Lancashire County Council’s first conference for the low carbon sector in partnership with Lancaster University. The event was a great success with high profile speakers in the industry providing relevant and insightful presentations as well as valuable networking opportunities for professionals in the environmental sector.

Open to both established providers or new businesses entering the low carbon goods and services market, the event looked at how this expanding market means increased competition and opportunity for companies. Businesses that make environmental products and supply services which support the environment are a key growth sector in Lancashire and will play an important role in future job creation.

This was a chance for us to showcase some of our existing business successes and encourage further innovation in this sector through bringing these companies together to share expertise. Businesses had the opportunity to receive individual advice from a panel of industry experts in a confidential setting, as well as networking with other professionals in a marketplace environment.
