Beacon Open Day

In March 2009 we were awarded Beacon status for the theme of 'Raising Economic Prosperity Through Partnerships.'

As part of the Beacon year we hosted an open day event on the 19 January 2010 in County Hall where delegates from across the country visited us to hear and learn more about our partnership activity.

The event was a showcase of our work on the Apprenticeships, WorkStart and Future Horizons models in Lancashire, our efforts to tackle worklessness in the most deprived areas and on addressing skills needs and employment prospects.
