Lancashire boasts a passionate love of sport and a genuine willingness
to compete at any level. This dedication and enthusiasm has led to
the provision of excellent facilities for a wide range of sporting
activities, for any age and ability.
In every area of the county you'll find sports and leisure centres
offering a full range of activities, from aerobics and archery to swimming
and squash. Many have cycling tracks, outdoor and indoor courts, swimming
pools and all-weather pitches, and ample provisions for club activities
ensure that all sections of the community are catered for. There are also
specialist facilities for unusual or high-level sporting activity.
