Lancashire County Council offers an excellent range of conferencing and training facilities in the North West which have been extensively developed to meet the needs of organisations whatever their size. 

From period properties to the latest hi-tech modern buildings you can be assured of finding a venue to suit your every need.  Our centres are located in a variety of settings - rural and urban - but generally with easy access via motorway networks and public transport.  In addition to the availability of a range of conference, training and meeting formats, some of our venues can also offer residential accommodation plus space for team-building or more reflective activities within their extensive and beautiful grounds.

Facilities include broadband internet access, a wide range of AV and ICT equipment such as laptops, digital and video cameras to record your event, digital projectors, interactive whiteboards, portable staging and induction loop systems. We also ensure that our facilities are accessible for all groups, complying with the Disability Discrimination Act regulations.

We recognise the amount of work involved in organising events so we ensure our events planning teams work closely with you on all aspects of your conference or training day including any technical production and support you may require.

You will also be delighted to discover that at most of our venues you can check out room availability at the click of a button before you contact us - thus saving valuable time within your busy schedule.

During your visit, we will treat you to an excellent catering service, whether it’s simply a coffee break, buffet lunch or a three course lunchtime meal to break up the day’s conference or training. Evening dining can also be catered for - to round off a day’s meeting, provide an opportunity for networking or simply to chat about the event.  Catering is provided by our own dedicated and experienced catering teams - a definite plus for our visitors.
